Veysel Tekdal


Veysel Tekdal earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Hacettepe University in 2010. In the same year, he was admitted to the International Relations master program at Middle East Technical University (METU). Currently, he is writing his master’s thesi,s entitled “The Role of Intellectuals in Policymaking in Post-Mao China: The Case of Labor Contract Law”, under the supervision of Dr. Ceren Ergenc at METU. His primary research interests are political economy of China’s transformation and intellectual currents in contemporary China. He will be taking Mandarin courses at National Chengchi University in Taiwan from March to August in 2013 within the scope of Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program.
