Thomas J. Campbell is president of DC Capital Partners LLC, a private equity firm he founded in 2007 which makes controlling investments in middle market companies operating in the U.S. federal government sector, including defense and aerospace. From 1992 through 2006 he was a partner in Veritas Capital. A co-founder of the Veritas Capital Fund LP, he was one of two managing members of its successor fund, the Veritas Capital Fund II.
Earlier in his career, he was a founding partner of the Merchant Banking Group of Wasserstein & Perella Co, Inc. More recently, Mr. Campbell was chairman of National Interest Security Company, LLC, a company that provided information technology solutions, information management, and strategic consulting services in support of national interest and security initiatives for the intelligence community. He ultimately sold the company to IBM. He currently serves as chairman of TSG Holdings, LLC and of the Strategic Intelligence Group, LLC.
Mr. Campbell began his career in 1980 as a staff accountant with Coopers and Lybrand, ultimately rising to the position of tax manager, C.P.A. Mr. Campbell is a graduate of Lehigh University with degrees in finance and accounting. An avid reader of history, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Pomfret School and a member of the Board of Directors and treasurer of the National Guard Youth Foundation. He previously served as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Fordham Preparatory School.
