Dr. Sumit Kumar is a foreign policy analyst whose research papers have been published in national and international journals of repute and in edited volumes. He regularly writes on issues regarding India’s foreign policy, Asia-Pacific, South Asia for major news daily in India and abroad, including the Statement, Pioneer, Diplomat, Daily Times, New Indian Express, Sunday Guardian, Deccan Herald, Daily News Analysis, and others. His articles have also been published by the London School of Economic and Political Science, the East Asia Forum, Centre for Land and Warfare Studies and the institute of Peace and Conflict Studies. He has BA (H) in Political Science from Delhi University, M.Phil and PhD in Political Sciences with specialization in international relations from Pondicherry Central University. Mr. Kumar has been a doctoral Fellow of the Indian Council of Social Science, New Delhi and holds a UGC NET Certificate. He has presented papers in national and international conferences. His area of interest is India’s policy towards Middle East, India-US relations, South Asia. He knows English, Hindi and Maithili languages.
