Louis R. Hughes

Louis R. Hughes is chief executive officer of InZero Systems (formerly GBS Systems), a company based in Herndon, Virginia that provides security for information technology systems. Previously he held a variety of executive positions with Lockheed Martin, Deutsche Bank, General Motors and Opel in the U.S. and Europe. Between 2004 and 2005, he was the chief of staff of the Afghanistan Reconstruction Group, which was created by the National Security Council.

Mr. Hughes is a member of the Board of Directors of Akzo Nobel N.V. in the Netherlands and Alcatel-Lucent in France. He holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a degree in engineering from Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute).
