Abdul-Karim Yaquob has served as the Executive Director of the Saudi Arabian Chinese Business Council, Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), since 2007. He became recently the Director General of Business Councils at CSC besides his other task. He also served before as Managing Editor of Al-Faisal magazine, a publication of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS). He was also the Director of the Heritage and Culture Department at KFCRIS, and a journalist for the Al-Bilad and Okaz daily newspapers. He was a member of the Saudi Arabian Civil Society delegation accompanying the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz on a state visit to China in 2006. He has also accompanied HRH Prince Turki Al Faisal, Chairman of KFCRIS’ missions to Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and has organized and directed several overseas Saudi trade missions. He was a member of the founding committee of King Fahd Academy in Bonn, Germany. He earned a BA in Library and Information Sciences at King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah, a Higher Diploma in Library and Information Sciences from Imam Mohammed Bin Saud University, Riyadh. He is currently enrolled in the MA Program in International Relations at Shanghai International Studies University, Shanghai.
