The Middle East Institute is pleased to announce Richard A. Clarke as its new Chairman of the Board of Governors. A world renowned expert on counterterrorism, cyber security, national security, and Middle Eastern affairs, Mr. Clarke is ideally suited to lead the Institute in a period of growth and expansion.
He will succeed General Anthony C. Zinni who will maintain his association with the Middle East Institute as Honorary Chairman of the Board of Governors. MEI is grateful for the wisdom and leadership General Zinni provided during his tenure and looks forward to his continued guidance.
Thomas Campbell, president of DC Capital Partners LLC, and Ambassador Robert Jordan, former U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia and currently Partner in Charge of the Middle East Practice of Baker Botts LLP have been confirmed as Vice Chairs of the Board.
