The Electronic Edition of the Middle East Journal is a very new feature for our website, so you may experience some difficulties getting started. The following details should be helpful.

What is Ingenta?

The Electronic Edition of the Middle East Journal is published in collaboration with IngentaConnect. While it appears to be a part of our regular website, you will need to setup a separate account with Ingenta, in addition to your MEI login.

Account Setup - Individuals (Subscribers and Members)

1. Create an account with Ingenta.
2. When prompted to enter your "Society or membership number," enter your MEI membership number.

If you don't know your MEI membership number, or are a new member and have not received your membership number, enter '999999' and then send an email to man-ed@mideasti.org to request manual activation. Allow up to two business days for your request to be processed.

3. Now you should be able to login and read the current issue of the Electron Edition of the MEJ, as well as recent back issues.
