The Middle East Institute is pleased to announce that MEI members may now access the online version of Index Islamicus at MEI’s George Camp Keiser Library.

Index Islamicus is one of the world’s premier research tools for Islam, the Middle East and the broader Muslim world. The database includes citations from more than 2,000 journals as well as books, conference proceedings, monographs, book reviews, etc., from 1906 to the present. Updated annually, the Index currently includes more than 241,000 records.

Public access to the online Index Islamicus is extremely limited in the D.C. area, and MEI is proud to be able to offer this service to its members. Because our licensing agreement allows access only to MEI members, we ask that Library patrons please bring their membership cards if they intend to use the Index.
