The Middle East Institute is pleased to welcome His Excellency Hatem Seif el-Nasr, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Americas of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He will address the various issues impacting regional stability and assess how they affect bilateral US-Egyptian relations.
Assistant Minister el-Nasr assumed his current post in December 2006. Prior to that he served as Egyptian Ambassador in several countries, including France, Lebanon, and Brazil. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Cairo University.
