
The Middle East Institute is pleased to welcome Dr. Amer Al-Tameemi to discuss the political and economic reform challenges in Kuwait – from the gain in women’s political rights to the latest economic boom.
Dr. Amer Al-Tameemi is a leading Kuwaiti economist and Chairman of the United Fishery of Kuwait. From 1994-2004, he served as chairman for the Kuwait Economic Society. Dr. Al-Tameemi is involved with the Kuwait Investment Project Holding Company and is a frequent economic contributor to Kuwaiti and Gulf newspapers.
