
The Middle East Institute is proud to co-sponsor a live concert on the Millennium Stage at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts which features the Nadeem Dlaikan Ensemble.
Nadeem Dlaikan is a maker and viruoso performer of the nai (reed flute). Born in Aley, Lebanon, he studied at the Lebanese Conservatory and later moved to the US. In 2004, he received a National Heritage Fellowship award from the National Endowment for the Arts. He will be performing in a four-piece ensemble.
