To reflect on the challenges that await the House of Saud and the US-Saudi relationship after the death of King Fahd, MEI is pleased to welcome our own Adjunct Scholar Thomas Lippman.

He is an expert on Saudi Arabia and author of several books, including Inside the Mirage: America’s Fragile Partnership with Saudi Arabia and The American Experience in Saudi Arabia.

Lippman has appeared on numerous television and radio shows, including CNN, FOX News, Al Arabiya, the Charlie Rose show, and NPR. Lippman was a reporter and editor for the Washington Post and currently serves as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
