Peter Bergen is a Schwartz senior fellow at the New America Foundation, a lecturer at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, a research fellow at New York University's Center on Law and Security and CNN's National Security analyst. He is also the author of the bestseller, Holy War, Inc.: Inside The Secret World of Bin Laden. Bergen has written for a variety of publications including the New York Times, The New Republic, Foreign Affairs, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, TIME, The Nation, and The Guardian. He has testified before Congressional Committees and taught at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Jump to Transcript

Kenneth Pollack, Brookings Institution
Kenneth Pollack is Director of Research at the Brookings Institution’s Saban Center for Middle East Policy, as well as a Senior Fellow of foreign policy for the institution. Pollack is an expert on national security, military affairs, and the Persian Gulf. He has served as director for Persian Gulf affairs at the National Security Council and spent seven years in the CIA as a Persian Gulf military analyst. Pollack holds degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Yale University. Jump to Transcript

Ambassador David Mack, Vice President, Middle East Institute
Ambassador David Mack served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs from 1990 to 1993, and as US Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates from 1986 to 1989. His diplomatic assignments included Iraq, Jordan, Jerusalem, Lebanon, Libya and Tunisia. Ambassador Mack has also been a consultant for numerous private US and Arab companies and has extensive experience and knowledge on Iraq and Libya, particularly the Iraqi Reconstruction effort and US-Libyan relations.
