Tom Meurer is Senior Vice President of Hunt Consolidated, Inc., a private international company with interests in oil and gas exploration and production, real estate development, private equity investments and land and cattle. He also serves as a senior officer and director of Hunt Oil Company and Hunt Realty Corporation, and is president of Hunt Equities Company and Hoodoo Land & Cattle Company. Prior to joining Hunt, he spent eight years with Electronic Data Systems.

Mr. Meurer serves as director of the Dallas Museum of Nature & Science, trustee of the Institute for the Study of Earth and Man at Southern Methodist University, director of the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, director of the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C. and a former trustee of the Texas Business Hall of Fame. Mr. Meurer is a graduate of the University of Washington. From 1963 to 1968, he served as an officer in the US Air Force.
