Joe Hall joined Goldman Sachs & Co. as Vice President in September of 2004. Prior to Goldman, he held the interim post of Vice President for Development at The George Washington University, capping an eleven-year tenure with the institution, and senior roles at the American Red Cross, The Catholic University of America and Georgetown University.

Mr. Hall and a business partner from The Washington Post Company founded technology firm Acumen Global, Inc., producer of iConfer™, a webbased multi-media application for training and corporate communications. He served as Chairman of Acumen Global until its sale to PADCO in 2004. Mr. Hall has served on a number of corporate and nonprofit boards, including CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Young Americas Business Trust of the Organization of American States. He is a Governor of the Washington Latin School, and a member of the National Council on American Politics. An adjunct professor at GW’s Graduate School of Political Management, he teaches graduate courses in nonprofit management.
