Joseph Englehardt is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and international peacekeeper who has over 35 years experience with the Middle East.
Mr. Englehardt has lived and worked in the Middle East for over 14 years, with assignments in Tehran, Ankara, Beirut, and Cairo. He also was the Director for Middle East Studies at the U.S. Army War College and Military Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs. In his last residence in Cairo, he was the Representative of the Director General of the Multinational Forces and Observers, overseeing implementation of the Treaty of Peace between Egypt and Israel.
