James Knox Holman has more than 25 years of broad international business experience with emphasis on project and crisis management, corporate turnarounds, restructures, bankruptcies, and start-up ventures. He was president of US Business Centers, Inc., developer of a major office-building project in Warsaw (1990-1994). Mr. Holman managed the turnaround and restructure of three companies: Purolator Courier, Pilot Freight Carriers, and TransOcean Airways (1986-1989). Mr. Holman was also president of International Water Resources (1981-1986). As a member of a six-man team, Mr. Holman helped to bring out of bankruptcy and rehabilitate Commonwealth Oil Refining Co. (1978-1981).
Mr. Holman is a graduate of Princeton and received an M.A. in the Middle East Studies from Harvard. He studied Arabic at Shemlan, Lebanon. Mr. Holman is the author of "Wagner’s Ring: A Listener’s Companion and Concordance."
